Brand.ai’s Go to Market Content Strategy

How strategic content positioning helped an AI startup differentiate in a crowded market by championing original thought leaders in strategy and trend, and human-AI collaboration over employee replacement.

Client: Brand.ai

TIMELINE

3 months

INDUSTRY(S)

AI, Branding

STAGE

Pre-seed / GTM

ROLE

Fractional Head of Content

The Challenge

Brand.ai, an AI brand operating system for enterprise, mid-tier and startup brand teams, needed to differentiate in a saturated AI tools market while proving their human-first philosophy wasn't just marketing speak—all with zero existing content presence.

The landscape:

Brand.ai was entering a market with 4 major competitors, all focused on AI capabilities rather than addressing what brand professionals actually needed: reassurance that AI could enhance rather than replace their expertise.

The founder factor:

Brand.ai’s Founder Michael Carter brought a unique combination—decades in brand strategy at LVMH and Patagonia, plus deep AI industry knowledge. The team wanted to differentiate the brand by highlighting Carter’s unique background.

Timeline pressure:

With Early Access launch approaching and a seed round on the horizon, the content strategy had to work immediately—no room for slow iteration.
